Intern: MBA/Graduate

Overview

Specialist individual contributor role in accounting and financial reporting, delivering assigned projects with general supervision and oversight of accounting systems, reports and controls.

What you'll do

• Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare internal and external financial reports.
• Maintain or oversee the control of accounts and records in areas such as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
• Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepare and consolidate financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
• Design, modify, install and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions.
• Adhere to and communicate accounting and auditing policies, procedures and internal controls.
• May be responsible for month end close.
• May be responsible for technical support and accounting of M&A activities.
• May oversee technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
• May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower level professionals.

What you'll need

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools/technologies that drive business outcomes, enhance productivity, and improve decision-making.
