Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Intern (Non-Tech), you will support talent identification and engagement across business, sales, operations, and corporate functions. You will work with recruiters and business stakeholders on end-to-end recruitment operations and candidate management.
What you'll do
- Leverage job boards, social channels, campus databases, and internal platforms to source qualified candidates for business, sales, and enabling function roles.
- Conduct initial resume screening and phone evaluations to assess candidate suitability, communication skills, and role alignment.
- Manage end-to-end interview scheduling, candidate communications, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and application stages across the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and internal recruitment trackers.
- Perform basic market mapping and talent research to support recruiter search strategies for specialized non-tech profiles.
- Utilize modern sourcing tools, AI prompts, and automated communication platforms to speed up top-of-funnel hiring workflows.
- Use modern search methodologies and basic AI tools/prompts to discover candidate profiles and boolean search strings.
- Use AI tools to draft personalized candidate outreach messages, interview invitations, and follow-ups.
- Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to summarize profiles, reduce administrative turnaround time, and improve daily recruitment throughput.
- Take initiative on daily sourcing and coordination tasks.
- Absorb recruiting best practices and stay open to new tools and ideas.
- Manage tight hiring schedules and candidate communication with speed and adaptability.
- Focus on candidate experience and professional ethics.
What you'll need
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage candidates professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple calendars and candidate pipelines.
- High learning agility, curiosity, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Nice to have
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related fields.
- Prior internship experience in HR, recruitment, candidate sourcing, or talent coordination.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Interest in fintech, internet platforms, or high-growth technology environments.
