Investment Guideline Compliance

Overview

Analyst role in Investment Guideline Compliance (IGC) within Global Technology & Operations in Pune.

What you'll do

• Support Investment Guideline Management activities across guideline documentation reviews.
• Implement rule coding and perform rule testing for client and regulatory requirements.
• Read, identify, and interpret investment restrictions from guidelines and other sources.
• Test and implement new investment restrictions across compliance systems.
• Run data integrity checks in compliance applications and coordinate updates with Data Management and Technology.
• Produce reports, document records, and maintain/archieve such records and reports.
• Respond to inquiries related to investment guideline compliance.
• Update the restricted list on a daily/monthly and weekly basis.

What you'll need

• Prefer a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Optionally, candidates with non-finance degrees with 2/3 years of finance experience will be considered.
• Experience working in a team and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Learn compliance platforms and regulatory/client guideline requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment compliance tools.
• Familiarity with Fixed Income instruments.
• Familiarity with investment fund regulations including 1940 Act and UCITS.
• Familiarity with ESG screening data across vendors such as MSCI, ISS, or Sustainalytics.
• Technical skills including SQL or MS Access.
