IP Design Verification Engineer

Overview

As an IP Design Verification Engineer, you will verify the functional quality of IP designs against specification requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure designs meet specification requirements.
• Develop and execute IP verification plans, test benches, and environments for microarchitecture compliance.
• Define and run system simulation models to verify designs, analyze power/timing, and identify bugs.
• Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex features.
• Document test plans and lead technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
• Maintain and improve functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Strong coding skills in Perl or Python.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM/OVM methodology.
• Hands-on experience with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Proven ability to design and implement verification test environments.

• Primary location: India, Bangalore.
• Work model: hybrid (split time between on-site at the assigned Intel site and off-site).
• Shift: Shift 1 (India).
