SoC Design Verification Engineer

Overview

SoC Design Verification Engineer focused on verifying advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) designs against functional specifications in presilicon environments.

What you'll do

• Create and update UVM-based test bench generation and test case creation.
• Define and develop scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans.
• Execute verification plans using emulation and system simulation models to uncover bugs and ensure functionality.
• Debug and root cause issues in presilicon environments and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams on verification of architectural features.
• Integrate security coverage activities into test plans, including regression and debug tests.
• Maintain and improve functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SoC design verification (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Expertise in OVM/UVM methodologies, debugging, and test planning.
• Experience with AMBA protocols including CHI, AXI, AHB, and APB with industry-standard VIP from EDA vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or a Master’s degree).
• Creation and updating of UVM-based test benches and test case creation.

• Work model: Hybrid (split time between on-site at the assigned Intel site and off-site).
