IP Specialist / Senior Specialist / Principal Specialist

Overview

Patent docketing and quality audit role within Anaqua's IP operations, covering both US and non-US patent matters.

What you'll do

• Docket and de-docket deadlines in IPMS for US and non-US patent matters, and upload and link relevant documents to the respective matter.
• Ensure correct bibliographic information is updated and generate correct reminders so paralegals and attorneys are timely informed of actions due.
• Identify key information in client-provided data and enter it correctly in IPMS as per client instructions.
• Perform quality audits on allocated documents as per client requirements within the allocated time.
• Responsible for all aspects of patent internal quality audit for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Review patent prosecution related documents (US and non-US) received via shared mailbox as per the standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Process allocated work as per client requirements and work instructions.
• Report and describe docketing related queries to manager or client (if needed).

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of experience in the related role.
• Knowledge of filing and prosecution practices in the USPTO, PCT, EP, JP, CN and other major jurisdictions.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to perform the role smoothly without missing deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English).

Nice to have

• Prior experience of working on Anaqua/Pattsy Wave platform.
