IS Data Security - Analyst

Overview

IS Data Security - Analyst to support and enhance Information Protection services, focusing on operating and improving enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities.

What you'll do

• Operate, manage, and optimize Microsoft Purview DLP and other enterprise DLP solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain DLP policies and data protection controls.
• Work with business stakeholders to manage requirements, exceptions, and DLP adoption.
• Collaborate on incident management, policy tuning, and remediation with multiple security and compliance teams.
• Improve service effectiveness using DLP incident, KPI, and SLA performance.
• Manage service requests, incidents, and problem management following ITIL best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, DLP, information protection, or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of DLP, data classification, sensitive data protection, and policy management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance or similar DLP platforms.
• Experience managing DLP operations, incident handling, policy tuning, exception management, and service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and KPI/SLA, incident, problem, and change management.

Nice to have

• Preferred: Microsoft Purview certifications (SC-401, SC-400, SC-500, or equivalent).
• Preferred: Data Security or AI relevant certificate.
