ISG Operations - Associate, Fund Accounting (Mumbai)

Overview

Associate role in ISG Operations Fund Accounting focused on ensuring proper NAV calculation for hedge fund clients and handling portfolio accounting updates in MSPA.

What you'll do

• Calculate daily NAV for hedge fund clients.
• Update client portfolios through requests made in Morgan Stanley Portfolio Accounting (MSPA).
• Review MSPA to custodian reconciliations, identify causes, and notify the Account Manager of breaks.
• Perform middle office functions such as P&L analysis and daily cash projections.
• Review general ledger exceptions and make necessary adjustments.
• Verify performance by reviewing large P&L swings and analyzing income/expense journals.
• Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.

What you'll need

• 6 months to 2 years prior work experience, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of hedge fund processing is a strong advantage.
• Good administrative and organisational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and cope with increased workloads at month-end.
• Ability to work as part of a virtual team across different time zones and geographies.
• Ability to use key financial systems and other IT tools.
