IT Operations Engineer

Overview

IT Operations Engineer focused on Network Operations Center (NOC) support and end-user compute service desk activities, including Microsoft Azure server environments.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage network environments and ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to end users and resolve hardware/software/mobile telephony issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and maintain network and compute environments.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA/OLA and handle major incident management.
• Coordinate post-incident reviews and root cause/preventative information (problem management).
• Support change management by ensuring environment changes are documented and approved.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in a similar role within a Network Operations Center or IT Service Desk environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with end-user computing environments (desktops, laptops, mobile devices).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including managing virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
• Core knowledge of ITIL processes including Major Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
