IT Operations Engineer

Overview

IT Operations Engineer intern role supporting and operating multiple systems across the technology stack through hands-on IT operations work and real-world projects.

What you'll do

• Respond to technology support requests.
• Build and configure Windows and Linux devices.
• Support Windows domain infrastructure.
• Monitor and support systems.
• Help with projects to optimize how the office works using tools like PowerShell.
• Collaborate with full-time IT Operations Engineers on real-world projects.

What you'll need

• Be knowledgeable about computer hardware components and how they interact.
• Be familiar with the Windows operating system.
• Show interest in learning networking, programming, or system administration.
• Be eager to help people and solve problems with clear, respectful communication.
• Be comfortable taking a hands-on approach to diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues at desktop, server, and network levels.
• Be able to develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Have a scripting-language familiarity with PowerShell or Bash (as a plus).

Details

• Interns are paired with full-time employees who act as mentors.
• May be invited to return for a full-time position after graduation.
