Java and Python Applications Developer - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Intermediate senior-programmer-analyst role focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.

What you'll do

• Participate in applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, and IT planning and risk technology activities.
• Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support to business users for applications.
• Analyze complex issues and recommend security measures post implementation.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on advanced programming solutions.
• Act as an advisor/coach to new or lower level analysts and operate with limited supervision.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate including design, development, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Must have good understanding of Oracle and SQL.
• Familiarity with standard SDLC and Agile processes.
