Java Developer with Temenos

Overview

Work as a Java Developer with Temenos, customizing Temenos T24/Transact software and developing Web/Mobile solutions and APIs.

What you'll do

• Customize the Temenos T24/Transact Software package, including L3 customization in the Securities module.
• Build and deliver Web/Mobile solutions through intra- and inter-team collaboration.
• Perform API requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, and work with micro-services architecture.
• Apply design patterns and development principles.
• Design relational database management systems and SQL solutions.
• Manage automated testing using TDD and BDD.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery.
• Manage a project.
• Share and pass on knowledge.
• Understand, explain, and support change.
• Develop and adapt a process.
• Develop others and improve their skills.
• Anticipate business and strategic evolution.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience.
• A Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
• Experience of Temenos T24/Transact Software package customization.
• Hands-on experience with Java/Web technologies and frameworks, including Spring (Core, Security, MVC), JPA, REST API, and JMS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Wildfly/Jboss, IBM MQ, Active MQ, Kafka, cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, KEDA, Prometheus, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL.
• Experience in intra- and inter-team collaboration to build and deliver Web/Mobile solutions.
• Hands-on experience with API-related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, and micro-services architecture.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and development principles.
• Good practical knowledge of RDBMS and SQL design.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge of automated testing, including TDD and BDD.
• Proven or previous experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile.
• General knowledge or experience in Banking, or knowledge related to Wealth Management/Private banking.
• Communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to understand, explain, and support change.
• Ability to develop and adapt a process.
• Ability to develop others and improve their skills.
• Ability to anticipate business and strategic evolution.
