Java Full Stack Developer - Emerging Lead

Overview

As a Senior Developer, develop solutions for the GTS Integration Services team, including enterprise web applications and system integrations. Manage multiple projects and tasks, meet deadlines, and use business and software development, data analysis, system flows, and design patterns to develop products.

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, and develop solutions for integration services.
• Deliver development tasks based on coding best practices and considering non-functional aspects.
• Participate in major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
• Manage efforts within and outside the agile team and complete tasks successfully within deadlines and agreed quality standards.
• Understand user needs and propose optimized solution options.
• Anticipate critical issues and risks and take responsibility for resolution across the organization.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills while working independently and collaboratively.
• Use and integrate processes through various transmission protocols using BPM-based tools.
• Develop solutions for file transport, messaging, and API integration protocols using proprietary and industry-standard formats.
• Perform system integration using bespoke, vendor, and/or open-source integration software.

What you'll need

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications in Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
• Experience developing web applications in Java, JavaScript frameworks, Spring MVC, and microservices on native and open cloud platforms using CI/CD.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.JS & Node.js.
• Experience with one or more protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, GRPC, Avro, or WebSocket.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Pytest.
• Work experience with build frameworks: Maven or Gradle, or Poetry, PDM, or PIPenv.
• Work experience in agile teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model.
• Strong competence in Results Focus, Business Acumen, Curiosity, Technology Level Influence, and Teamwork.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift, or similar.
• Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD.
• Experience working with messaging platforms such as IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Rabbit MQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTP, Samba, and MFT.
• Working knowledge of Co-pilot, Devin, or any other AI code-assistant tool.
