Junior Company Counsel

Overview

Junior Company Counsel supporting legal operations and high-quality legal documentation for a global business.

What you'll do

• Support compliance investigations with the company’s compliance and litigation attorneys.
• Contribute to compliance training development and delivery.
• Assess and develop compliance policies and manage parts of an anti-bribery due diligence program.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts and other legal documentation.
• Ensure documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered within required timelines.
• Produce and maintain legal/business documentation including meeting minutes and document summaries.
• Proofread and update clauses across legal templates as needed.

What you'll need

• Experience working within a legal team in a law firm or in-house legal environment.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for drafting and review.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and legal principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Report writing and project management skills would be advantageous.

Details

• Location: Gurgaon.
• Working pattern: hybrid style with remote work from home up to 3 days a week and in-office for the rest.
