Overview
Junior Engineer/Engineer - Installation provides site supervision across safety, quality, productivity, installation execution, handovers, and customer coordination during installation activities.
What you'll do
- Supervise installation and handover activities with accountability for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Raise and action corrective actions for detected non-conformities.
- Ensure proper use of KONE installation methods and tools and perform risk assessment where needed.
- Verify site execution plan and manage field costs during pre-delivery review and through installation handovers.
- Plan installation activities, site storage, logistics, and required resources and tools.
- Manage materials flow, including requests, confirmations of arrival, and Goods Receipt.
- Coordinate customer deliverables, site visits/audits, and resolve non-conformities with customer.
- Perform final testing accountability, close raised items, and complete handover to maintenance.
What you'll need
- Experience with site installation supervision covering safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ability to verify installation scope completion and support corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Knowledge of installation execution planning and field cost management as part of pre-delivery review.
- Capability to perform materials management tasks including Goods Receipt.
- Ability to coordinate installation team huddles and prevent interruptions to ensure smooth workflow.
- Competence in managing installation documentation, reporting progress/costs/risks, and schedule changes.
- Familiarity with environmental aspects of installation, including waste and hazardous material handling.

- Acts as primary customer contact for site management and communicates proactively using related tools.
- Verifies installers/testers/contractors are trained, certified, and competent for installation tasks.
- Follows and improves standard ways of working using LEAN principles and lean tools.
