Overview

Engineer, Environmental based in Chennai, responsible for environmental compliance coordination, component information management, supplier training, and support for audits and regulatory changes.

What you'll do

• Coordinate Environmental Compliance activities across multiple teams.
• Collect, analyze, and archive component information using the Compliance Map tool.
• Support multiple customers and suppliers with environmental regulatory requirements.
• Provide training to suppliers on Environmental Compliance requirements.
• Support regulatory compliance and internal/third-party audits.
• Handle regulation changes in CMAP and forecast risk for affected parts.
• Update SOP/SOW and process documents at the required frequency.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (mandatory).
• Knowledge of environment regulations including RoHS, REACh, PFAS, and Prop 65.
• Ability to manage contacts with multiple suppliers and train them on regulations.
• Ability to review supplier documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
