Junior Engineer - Hydro Testing

Overview

Junior Engineer - Hydro Testing will execute and inspect aerospace hardware in Hydro Testing operations in FCOE, working as a Hydro Testing inspector in Aviation line production Quality operations.

What you'll do

• Work hands on across shifts in Testing cells in Aerospace function.
• Ensure that the Production line and products meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality and Line Leaders to discuss and resolve product quality issues.
• Train and lead qualification of team personnel.
• Assist in new product development activities to avoid quality issues.
• Coordinate AS and other relevant audits.
• Work with leadership to improve the quality management system based on audit results.
• Work in compliance with site and regulatory safety and quality norms.

What you'll need

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in the aerospace or aviation engineering industry.
• Documented hands-on work experience or existing hydro process qualification.

Nice to have

• Strong hands-on experience performing pressure testing operations.
• Strong hands-on experience performing process control checks.
• Experience working per GE-Aerospace-specific customer P specs, third-party norms, and other international regulatory norms.
• Experience with visual inspection of finished and purchased product norms.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
