Key Account Manager - Healthcare

Overview

Key Account Manager for the healthcare sector at UPS, responsible for generating revenue by developing new business relationships and managing existing partnerships with pharma, biopharma, medtech, diagnostics and dental manufacturers and distributors in the assigned territories.

What you'll do

• Execute sales and revenue goals by developing sales strategies and building customer solutions and presentations that match healthcare customer requirements to UPS's Small Package and Freight Forwarding portfolio.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with multiple senior decision-makers within customer and UPS organizations.
• Manage the pipeline using Salesforce and other reporting tools.
• Maintain a book of business, build account strategy roadmaps, and manage contract renewals and compliance.
• Monitor competitor performance and industry news, and collaborate across teams to leverage competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with the One UPS Sales team to exchange leads and support end-to-end solution positioning for the healthcare industry.

What you'll need

• Ambition and drive to win.
• Bachelor's degree essential.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience in business development of international logistics, either express or freight forwarding.
• Demonstrated solution selling.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and, if required, internationally.
• Flexibility with working hours to collaborate with other regions and time zones.

Nice to have

• Logistics, supply chain or business degree.
• International complex healthcare logistics (cold chain) experience.
• Quick learner.
