L3 Authorization Support Engineer, AVP

Overview

Provide advanced L3 technical support and engineering for authorization and access control platforms. The role focuses on production stability, incident resolution, automation, reliability, and platform modernization.

What you'll do

• Provide L3 support for critical authorization and access management platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for high-severity incidents.
• Design and implement scalable engineering solutions and automation.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, capacity planning, and resilience practices.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability requirements.
• Review designs and code while mentoring junior engineers.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, business, regional, and global teams.

What you'll need

• Strong experience with IAM, authorization, or access control platforms.
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Experience with automation, scripting, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, system integration, SDLC, and ITIL practices.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Redis, Java, Angular, Python, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with Splunk, New Relic, Geneos, Control-M, or CloudWatch.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
