L3 SOC Services Deployment Specialist

Overview

The L3 SOC Services Deployment Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert who provides technical support to NTT clients, compiling technical specifications and solutions across two or more technologies.

What you'll do

• Interact with clients on site and remotely to meet complex solution requirements.
• Escalate unresolved problems and complex issues to the relevant third parties, and respond to escalated client requests.
• Write reports and proposals, and complete and maintain project documentation.
• Assist with documenting standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
• Act as coach and mentor to more junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
• Coordinate the activities of junior Engineers in line with performance targets.
• Take part in higher complexity design work, with input to the design expected.
• Take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

• Valid CCNP Voice/Collaboration Certification required (Collaboration).
• Seasoned proficiency across two or more technologies: Networking, Data Centre, Security, Customer experience, Collaboration and/or End User Compute.
• Seasoned work experience in technical implementation engineering in Networking, Data Centre, Security, Customer experience, Collaboration and/or End User Compute.
• Seasoned experience engaging with clients and conducting presentations.
• Seasoned report writing experience.
• Seasoned project management experience.
• Seasoned experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express, Cisco Attendant Console, Cisco IMP, Cisco Customer Collaboration Platform and Expressway in enterprise deployments, including bulk administration, provisioning and management of endpoints and user accounts in large-scale systems.
• Seasoned experience with voice gateways: MGCP, SIP, H.323, SCCP, digital PRI/E1, analog FXO/FXS.
• Seasoned experience with Border Element, media resources, SRST/SRSV.
• Seasoned experience with Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express, including UC Manager integration, scripting and high availability clustering.
• Seasoned experience with design and implementation for UC environments.
• Seasoned experience with CME/CUE.
• Seasoned experience in dial plan design and implementation.
• Seasoned experience with virtualization, specifically VMware, Cisco UCS B/C-Series servers and Wireshark.
• Seasoned experience with Cisco TelePresence video solutions.
• Seasoned experience with Cisco audio and video conferencing solutions.
• Seasoned experience with Webex Calling and Webex Contact Centre solutions.
• Seasoned experience with voice carrier systems from Telkom, Neotel, Vodacom, MTN.
• Seasoned experience with multi-cluster call manager environments.
• Seasoned experience in network switching and routing.
• Customer experience certifications: NICE Engage NCSE or NCIE, Sentinel Fundamentals, CXOne Basic or Advanced Certification, or CXOne ACD Administrator Certification, or equivalent NICE/Nexidia/Avaya/Verint/Genesys certifications as listed in the posting.
• Data Centre certifications such as HPE, Dell, VMware VCP-DCV, Veeam or Veritas NetBackup, Azure Fundamentals or Cisco UCS, as listed in the posting.
• End User Compute certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-103), as listed in the posting.
• Networking professional-level certification in Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNP, JNCIS or ACMP, as listed in the posting.
• Security certifications such as Azure Certified Security Engineer, PCNSE, FCP, CCNP Security, CISSP, AZ-500, SC-200, Security+, CEH, CISM, as listed in the posting.

Nice to have

• Seasoned ARC and Call Cabinet expertise.
• Additional certifications relevant to the services provided carry additional weighting, including Terraform, Azure, Sentinel, EDR Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Security, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Azure Governance, Git, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS/GCP infrastructure, Azure Infrastructure as Code, Hybrid Cloud, Firewalls, LAN, VPN, Automation, Office365, Power BI Administration, PowerShell scripting and ZTNA.
• Certifications in CCDP Security, JNCIA, ACCA, PCNSC, CCSA, ITIL, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure Certified Network Engineer are advantageous.
• Cisco DevNet certification.
