Lead AI Engineer

Overview

Lead AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI and GenAI solutions, including LLM-based and retrieval/agentic architectures.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI platforms and GenAI solutions.
• Architect scalable Python applications, APIs, microservices, and data engineering pipelines.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and AI/LLMOps frameworks for production-ready AI.
• Collaborate with technology leaders, data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders on complex challenges.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead strategic initiatives to accelerate AI adoption.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale distributed systems is desired.
• Expert proficiency in Python, object-oriented design, and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on production Generative AI experience with at least 3+ years focused on LLM-based applications.
• Experience designing and deploying knowledge retrieval systems using RAG and knowledge management/search architectures.
• Experience building REST APIs and cloud-native microservices (GCP mentioned).

• Solid expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, observability, security, Agile, and production deployment frameworks.
