Lead Applied Value Engineer role focused on solving complex, business-critical customer problems through AI and technical solutioning on the Celonis platform.
What you'll do
- Diagnose customer strategy and key operational challenges to discover tailored, domain-specific use cases.
- Architect and prototype AI and technical solutions on the Celonis platform.
- Lead end-to-end execution of Proof-of-Value (PoV) projects.
- Architect and deliver highly secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails.
- Act as a trusted advisor for strategic accounts to ensure value realization, adoption, and implementation outcomes.
- Codify solution work into reusable methodology and globally scalable assets.
What you'll need
- 7+ years in executive-facing presales and value engineering with independent technical close ownership.
- Experience owning accountable PoV execution and driving ROI/TCO modeling.
- Architectural mastery of LLM orchestration, tool use/function calling, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering.
- Expert-level application of optimization, statistical analysis, reinforcement learning, and predictive forecasting.
- Experience designing deployment architectures and reliability standards for production-grade AI across cloud providers including AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, and GCP Vertex AI.
- Python proficiency, modular API design, advanced SQL, and scalable data integration (libraries/frameworks listed include PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Hugging Face).
