Overview

Lead Applied Value Engineer supporting strategic customers with AI discovery, solution design, prototyping, and end-to-end proof-of-value delivery. The role focuses on applying Celonis Process Intelligence with generative AI and agentic systems to achieve measurable business outcomes.

What you'll do

Understand customer AI strategies and business-critical challenges.
Translate customer requirements into Celonis-based AI solutions.
Build prototypes during customer hackathons.
Enable AI agents and process transformation using Process Intelligence.
Execute proof-of-value projects, including architecture and secure scalable system delivery.
Integrate LLM and agent systems with enterprise data, identity, and compliance frameworks.
Drive adoption and value realization until agreed thresholds are reached.

What you'll need

9+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales.
Experience defining AI roadmaps and building ROI/TCO business cases.
Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Utilities.
Knowledge of generative AI techniques including RAG, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration.
Good knowledge of Python and ML libraries such as LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, or PyTorch.
Strong presentation skills for executives and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience building agentic systems with LLM orchestration, RAG, and guardrails.
Experience deploying and monitoring models across AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or GCP Vertex.
