Lead Data Analyst

Overview

Lead Data Analyst responsible for applying hands-on data science and machine learning to reporting and operations problems. The role covers data intake, experimentation, funnel analysis, model development, and translating findings into actionable business solutions.

What you'll do

• Partner with senior stakeholders to frame business problems as data science questions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and validate assumptions.
• Build, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models.
• Optimize existing models for accuracy, robustness, and business impact.
• Write production-ready Python and SQL code.
• Analyze large-scale data using AWS SageMaker, Redshift or Snowflake, and S3.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data science or applied machine learning.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong exploratory data analysis and data-understanding skills.
• Proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Redshift or Snowflake, and S3.
• Experience taking models from concept to production and maintaining them.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or fine-tuning.

• Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India.
• Hybrid schedule: at least three days per week in the office and up to two days working from home.
• Employment type: Full time.
• Work timings: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
