Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake + DBT (Data build Tools)

Overview

Lead Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining large-scale enterprise data platforms, data warehousing solutions, and cloud data pipelines using ETL/ELT.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain data platforms supporting enterprise data integrations.
• Establish enterprise-scale data integration procedures, pipelines, and frameworks.
• Create ingestion pipelines with scheduled and trigger-based patterns.
• Optimize performance of DDLs, data pipelines, and SQL queries.
• Perform impact analysis for proposed changes on architecture and technology solutions.
• Manage developer deliverables, run design reviews, and coordinate release management.
• Provide technical support for production incidents and failures.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience designing and building data warehouses and data lakes.
• Good knowledge of data warehouse principles and concepts.
• Technical expertise with large-scale data warehousing applications/databases (Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, SQL Server).
• Cloud-based data platform experience, specifically Snowflake and AWS.
• Expertise in designing and developing complex data pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of Transform/ELT tools such as DBT (also mentions Qlik Replicate, AWS Glue, Snowpark).
• Expert in SQL and stored procedures, including resolving data integrity issues.
