Lead Electrical Engineer

Overview

Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for detailed electrical and power electronics engineering, project execution, testing, validation, and commissioning support for drives, switchgear, transformers, solar, BESS, and hybrid plant control systems.

What you'll do

• Design LV/MV drives, transformers, RMUs, switchgear, cables, and power electronics equipment.
• Perform protection, arc-flash, loss-budget, modelling, simulation, and root-cause analyses.
• Prepare configurations, schematics, specifications, bills of materials, and single-line diagrams.
• Verify equipment performance under specified operating conditions.
• Support manufacturing with component installation, harnesses, cable routing, clearances, and creepage requirements.
• Define and conduct functional tests and project factory acceptance tests.
• Coordinate engineering, project execution, controls validation, and commissioning activities.

What you'll need

• At least 10 years of experience in electrical design, power electronics, project execution, EPC, drives, or panels.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, electronic, instrumentation, or controls engineering, or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of LV/MV drives, transformers, RMUs, and solar and BESS plant control.
• Experience with power-system studies, protection coordination, load flow, fault studies, harmonics, and cable selection.
• Expertise in solar, energy storage, plant-level controls, validation, verification, or systems integration.
• Experience with AutoCAD, E-Plan, ETAP, or MATLAB is preferred.
• Communication, mentoring, cross-functional coordination, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GE MarkVIe, ToolboxST, WorkstationST, Cimplicity, P80i, HDM, and Simulink.
