Senior Engineer - Technical Analyst MBD Tools

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining coding tools for vehicle software development across the V-cycle, using Model-Based Design technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop and update coding tools using MATLAB scripting, Python and VBA.
• Clarify requirements with customers and follow development processes and guidelines.
• Create requirements documents, validation reports and user manuals.
• Perform design reviews and technical reviews for deliveries.
• Analyse and resolve issues, including impact analysis and preventive improvements.
• Conduct peer reviews, validation and training for junior engineers and peers.
• Propose improvements to processes, tools and technical quality.

What you'll need

• 9 to 15 years of experience in MATLAB Model-Based Design using Simulink and Stateflow.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR-based coding and testing.
• Experience customising MATLAB Embedded Coder for automatic code generation.
• Experience with fixed- and floating-point coding using MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow.
• Experience with MISRA 2023 coding standards and static code analysis.
• Working knowledge of MATLAB scripting, Python and VB macros.
• M.E./M.Tech in a listed engineering specialisation or B.E./B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, ECE, CS or EEE.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional scripting languages and automation tools.
• Familiarity with automotive software development processes, MAAB and AUTOSAR.
