Lead Engineer

Overview

Lead Engineer (SAP Basis DevOps) responsible for engineering, automation, reliability, and continuous improvement of SAP platforms across on-premises and Microsoft Azure.

What you'll do

• Lead SAP Basis operations for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, SAP BTP, and HANA environments.
• Manage SAP platform lifecycle activities including installations, upgrades, migrations, refreshes, patching, and performance optimization.
• Drive DevOps adoption using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, patching, compliance, and release management.
• Lead SAP cloud transformation initiatives on Microsoft Azure.
• Adopt AI, Generative AI, and AIOps capabilities for monitoring, analysis, and predictive maintenance.
• Establish observability, incident management, and disaster recovery; lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 12-15+ years of experience in SAP Basis, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or DevOps with leadership.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA platform reliability, security, and high-availability architectures.
• Hands-on experience using AI/AIOps technologies in engineering, operations, automation, or DevOps.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
