What you'll do
- Support the development of robust, reliable, cost-effective, and technically compliant electronics solutions for aerospace applications.
- Develop and review electronic circuits, schematics, design calculations, and engineering documentation independently.
- Perform circuit-level analysis, simulation, feasibility studies, and design trade-off evaluations.
- Perform engineering calculations related to power consumption, component ratings, electrical performance, thermal behavior, and circuit margins.
- Develop MATLAB/Simulink models and scripts for electrical system analysis, circuit behavior evaluation, data processing, and engineering calculations.
- Support electronics architecture development, interface definition, design implementation, integration, verification, and qualification activities.
- Support design verification and testing, including test setup preparation, test execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, and technical reporting.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions such as PDR, CDR, TRR, and internal design reviews.
- Identify technical risks, design issues, interface problems, and potential failure modes and escalate them appropriately to senior engineers.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design descriptions, schematics, calculations, simulation results, test reports, and technical analyses.
- Support compliance with applicable aerospace standards, customer requirements, and product specifications, including DO-160 and DO-254 where applicable.
- Support product qualification, verification, and production transition activities.
- Participate in lessons-learned activities and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, design methodologies, and development practices.
- Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones within agreed schedules and quality requirements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
