Lead Engineer -Product Definition Accessories Piping

Overview

Lead Product Definition Engineer responsible for leading quality-circle and project execution while delivering product definition for gas, steam and generator turbine accessories.

What you'll do

• Create 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups and electronic product-definition data.
• Lead execution of PDE scopes for gas, steam and generator accessories.
• Deliver 3D piping designs, skid arrangement drawings and bills of materials.
• Lead complex projects, weekly planning and daily management activities.
• Own SDRs, NCRs and peer reviews while applying lessons learned to standard work.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on interfaces, milestones, quality and schedules.
• Provide design support for design, performance, manufacturing, supplier and field issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in gas or steam turbine accessories product definition or a similar domain.
• CAD expertise with NX/Unigraphics.
• PLM expertise with ENOVIA or Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of piping support detailing and welding.
• Understanding of model-based product definition initiatives.
• Ability to work across functions and communicate in a matrix organization.
