Lead Engineer - Technical Compliance

Overview

Lead technical compliance for gas power projects, ensuring products and plant systems meet applicable regulations, codes, and standards across project execution.

What you'll do

• Drive regulatory compliance across gas turbines, generators, steam turbines, BOP, HRSG, and controls.
• Build compliance strategies from contractual codes and standards.
• Assess compliance and manage project technical compliance plans.
• Coordinate compliance project engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Resolve technical compliance issues with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams.
• Manage compliance project schedules, costs, risks, and status communication.
• Review and approve technical files for submission to authorities.

What you'll need

• More than 6 years of experience, preferably in engineering within the energy business.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Expertise in codes and standards including ATEX, EMC, PED, LV, ASME, IBC, and Grid Codes.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements, compliance practices, and industry standards.
• Experience managing complex regulatory compliance projects across functions.
• Knowledge of the energy industry.
• Strong English communication, leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Certification by an external entity or experience with an industrial technology or product set.
