Lead Engineer (P2) - Material Compliance (Hybrid)

Overview

Lead Engineer responsible for chemical and environmental regulatory compliance projects covering products, materials, and processes.

What you'll do

• Assess material-of-concern data at part and assembly level.
• Address customer chemical regulatory queries with supporting documentation.
• Coordinate material selection and material-of-concern validation for new designs.
• Identify product regulatory risks and mitigation needs.
• Identify and validate alternative materials for global regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional and North American teams on regulatory and business-strategy changes.

What you'll need

• 2 to 4 years of work experience, preferably in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
• Working understanding of global chemical regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, SDS, BoMs, chemical compositions, and regulatory documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-coordination, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of compliance tools, Teamcenter, CAD tools, and MS Office.
