Lead Engineer, VP

Overview

Lead Engineer (Vice President) for Deutsche Bank’s RMS Trade Processing team in the Foreign Exchange Technology domain.

What you'll do

• Drive and lead end-to-end engineering solutions to achieve business goals.
• Build reliability and resiliency using testing and review throughout delivery.
• Design, review, and evolve feature and service architecture.
• Design and implement APIs, services, and modules; enforce coding standards via code reviews.
• Drive test automation to improve quality, reliability, and release confidence.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for mission-critical applications and resolve complex production issues.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience and 5+ years in a technical leadership position.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (collections, concurrency, multithreading, networking), Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of the .NET ecosystem and Windows platform.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database expertise, with Oracle experience as an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD and designing/supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, observability/monitoring tools (Grafana), OpenAPI, RESTful services, GCP, and Kubernetes.
