Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Ansible Platform Management

Lead Infrastructure Engineer role focused on infrastructure automation using Ansible Platform management in a 24x7 environment.

What you'll do

• Lead delivery of reliable, scalable, maintainable infrastructure automation solutions aligned with platform standards.
• Translate technical requirements, platform architecture, operational needs, and feedback into engineering solutions and implementation plans.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions with the team and third-party vendors.
• Evaluate internal and external software for fit with target state architecture goals.
• Apply best practices to improve platform stability, automation effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Direct daily risk and control flow of operations and ensure required processes are in place.
• Review high-impact outages and implement feedback to improve future delivery and product outcomes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of technology infrastructure engineering and solutions experience.
• 5+ years designing, operating, and optimizing large-scale distributed production systems with high availability, scalability, fault tolerance using Ansible Automation platform.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with the Ansible Automation platform; AAP experience should be toward AAP platform management.
• Expertise in Ansible Automation Platform and Ansible development (reusable playbooks, roles, collections, workflows, execution environments, governance).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and Linux administration/scripting (Shell, YAML, Python).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for Infrastructure as Code, security, and compliance scanning (GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
• Ability to support production incidents, root cause analysis, risk identification, and timely escalation in a 24x7 platform environment.
