Lead Software Engineer- NLP, Gen AI

Overview

Lead Software Engineer focused on NLP and GenAI, responsible for architecture, implementation, design, and deployment of Python-based AI/ML and LLM applications.

What you'll do

• Establish methodologies to rollout new data analysis capabilities for data-driven products and services using AI/ML/LLMs.
• Lead architecture and technical design discussions to align data science solutions with strategic objectives.
• Continuously improve models using experimentation and optimization techniques.
• Analyze unstructured text data to discover insights and patterns using ML and NLP.
• Drive adoption by evangelizing new AI/ML and data science technologies.
• Create data science packages and APIs for broader organizational use.
• Mentor junior team members on technical practices and non-technical acumen.

What you'll need

• 7-9 years of experience in algorithms and statistics.
• Experience in data mining, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Ability to provision packages and APIs for production data science code.
• Experience with ML model/techniques including NLP, BERT, and Transformers.
• Experience using LLMs to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, Langfuse, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering or Data Science is required.
