Lead Software Engineer - Python/Gen AI/RAG

Overview

Lead the engineering of a production-grade agentic AI platform using Python, GenAI, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration. The role focuses on enabling business users to configure, deploy, and manage AI agents through reusable, configuration-driven workflows.

What you'll do

• Architect and build an agentic AI platform for business users.
• Develop deep agents with planning, tool use, memory, and autonomous execution.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines for enterprise knowledge sources.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into scalable backend services.
• Design orchestration layers for routing, planning, execution, and result aggregation.
• Implement tool-calling protocols to connect agents with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Mentor engineers and drive agentic system, prompt engineering, and AI safety practices.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python expertise.
• Production experience building AI or GenAI applications.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval optimization.
• Experience with agentic AI systems and multi-agent orchestration.
• Strong API development skills using FastAPI or Flask and asynchronous programming with asyncio.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, and distributed-system resilience patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience designing low-code or configuration-driven platforms.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Prior financial services or capital markets experience.
• Familiarity with MCP or similar tool-integration standards.
