Job description

Overview

Lead user enablement, training, knowledge management, and user-facing documentation for a custom software application. Ensure users and Help Desk personnel have accurate guidance as functionality, processes, and support procedures evolve.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain user guides, Knowledge Base articles, job aids, videos, learning modules, and release guidance.
  • Plan and deliver training tailored to user roles, experience levels, and job functions.
  • Assess training resources, documentation, knowledge gaps, delivery methods, and user needs.
  • Manage Knowledge Base governance, content reviews, publishing, version control, and retirement.
  • Coordinate documentation and training impacts across development, QA, SMEs, and software releases.
  • Develop Help Desk onboarding, refresher, troubleshooting, and support materials.
  • Track participation, content usage, engagement, recurring questions, and training effectiveness.

What you'll need

  • Experience developing and delivering software application training, user documentation, or technical learning content.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear instructions for nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience creating multiple learning-content formats.
  • Experience working with development, QA, Help Desk, product owners, SMEs, and end users.
  • Experience managing documentation through review, approval, publishing, versioning, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Familiarity with Agile development, testing, UAT, and release communications.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, or comparable platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting large enterprise or Government applications.
  • Experience with Section 508, instructional design, eLearning tools, video development, or knowledge management.
  • Experience using AI/ML tools and techniques.

Details

  • Remote/teleworker role in the United States.
  • Pay range: $131,300–$237,350 yearly.
