Legal Counsel - International (Asst. Manager / Manager / Sr. Manager)

Overview

Legal Counsel – International to support Azurity’s global in-house legal function across regulated markets, providing transactional legal and advisory support.

What you'll do

• Support global transactional legal activities including M&A, licensing, and divestments.
• Assist due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, licensing, and divestments.
• Draft and review contracts and legal documents for corporate development and scientific/medical work.
• Perform contractual review and provide feedback on asset, share/stock purchase, and in-/out-licensing agreements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support transaction execution.
• Support ad-hoc legal projects assigned by global legal leadership.

What you'll need

• LLB from a reputed university.
• 5–9 years of relevant experience in transactional legal work.
• Prior experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in a multinational organisation.
• Strong understanding of regulated markets including the USA, EU, and Canada.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic signature programmes and contract management platforms.

• Work from office five days a week, 12:00 pm–09:00 pm IST.
