Listed Derivatives & Clearing Funding Specialist, Associate

Overview

Associate role in Deutsche Bank’s Listed Derivatives & Clearing (LD&C) Funding team, managing funding requirements and optimizing capital costs for listed derivatives.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute funding strategies for listed derivatives.
• Manage daily funding and margin calls and optimize funding sources.
• Oversee collateral for listed derivatives and optimize collateral allocation efficiency.
• Manage balance sheet utilization with focus on RWA and leverage ratio optimization.
• Prepare reports on funding costs and collateral and enhance analytical tools.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes impacting funding.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations and identify/mitigate risks.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in funding, treasury, collateral management, or derivatives operations.
• Strong understanding of listed derivatives products, funding mechanics, margin methodologies, and clearing processes.
• Proficiency in financial modelling using Excel and Python.
• Working knowledge of data handling (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, or a quantitative field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
