Machine Learning Analyst- Python and SQL

Overview

Analyze complex customer experience and business data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and support data-driven strategies. The role uses Python, SQL, and machine learning across data preparation, modeling, deployment, and production support.

What you'll do

• Compile and analyze large internal and external datasets using SQL and related tools.
• Document data requirements and perform data collection, processing, cleaning, and exploratory analysis.
• Apply statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Interpret findings and recommend policies, procedures, or business actions.
• Write, test, document, and maintain efficient code.
• Automate deployment pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
• Validate and maintain deployed models in production.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 2 years with a master's degree.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning.
• Experience in a quantitative field with analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• A bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science Engineering or IT is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with PySpark.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs or generative AI, and prompt engineering.
• Customer experience analytics background.
• Exposure to the credit card business.
• Familiarity with SDLC and sprint deployment cycles.
