Manager, AML Analytics

Overview

Manager, AML Analytics to design and evolve AML monitoring controls using advanced technical and statistical methods.

What you'll do

• Architect AML monitoring controls and advance them from transaction triggers to behaviour-based models.
• Apply statistical methods and optimisation techniques to refine the monitoring framework.
• Develop and deploy risk-based, data-driven member segmentation and targeted controls.
• Create and maintain clear, audit-ready technical documentation for models and controls.
• Contribute to the AML Analytics roadmap by identifying opportunities to innovate in detection.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of experience in a data analytics function.
• Strong preference for experience in financial crime or risk management.
• High proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas and PySpark to build, validate, and optimise complex models.
• Experience applying optimisation algorithms and statistical methods to balance model precision/recall or manage alert volumes.
• Ability to translate AML typologies and risk policies into monitoring logic.
• Understanding of financial crime regulatory frameworks for transaction monitoring system design.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain technical and statistical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
