Manager – Competitiveness & Transformation

Overview

Manager for Competitiveness & Transformation within the supply chain team, driving execution of transformation projects in the BTC Pune organization.

What you'll do

• Lead or support transformation and competitiveness projects for one of Castrol’s Performance Units (PUs).
• Execute the C&T agenda including PCC, OCC, industrialization, digital initiatives, and transformation.
• Improve supply chain competitiveness and efficiency by ensuring PU-level project execution with pace.
• Collaborate with C&T colleagues across PU and global teams to ensure handover and continuity.
• Apply project management best practices to manage timelines, milestones, risks, interdependencies, resources, budgets, and value delivery.
• Perform supply chain cost modelling and support data-driven decision making and business case validation.
• Track value delivery and status reporting for team governance and leadership.

What you'll need

• 12 to 15 years’ experience.
• Project management experience, ideally with a formal qualification such as PMP or Prince.
• Data analysis experience using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Proven stakeholder relationship management across teams and organization levels.
• Ability to manage diverse activities and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to collaborate across different teams, cultures, and geographies.

Details

• Location: India - Pune.
• Shift timing: 12:30 pm–9:30 pm (Oct–Mar) / 11:30 am–8:30 pm (Apr–Sep).
• Travel requirement: up to 10%.
• Remote: not available for remote working.
• Relocation assistance: eligible for relocation within country.
