Manager, Engineering - Endpoint Security

Overview

Manager, Engineering (Endpoint Security) leading development activities for R&D teams that build what customers and users need on a 6-month roadmap and longer-term strategy.

What you'll do

• Plan and direct team development activities to align with established policies and objectives.
• Generate and manage day-to-day work for team(s) while ensuring outcomes and high-quality delivery.
• Work with Product to define and deliver the 6-month roadmap and contribute to longer-term planning with your director.
• Oversee execution of the product roadmap and ensure teams deliver on time.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, product managers, and support stakeholders to deliver key features.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and champion adoption of secure coding standards.
• Ensure teams follow ISMS regulations and remove obstacles/blockers to delivery.

What you'll need

• 8 years’ experience in software development or a related role, or a Master’s degree plus 2 years’ experience in software development management/engineering leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Background in networking, security, or distributed systems.
• Strong ownership mindset for driving issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-platform OS experience (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure) and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby).
