Overview

Manager, Software Development responsible for leading a software engineering team that researches and develops new solutions and technologies.

What you'll do

• Act as a technical lead/coach for a team researching and developing new solutions and technologies.
• Explore new technologies and help the team create solution concepts.
• Apply ideation, design, prototyping, and testing to explore new solutions.
• Manage implementation plans including schedules and team updates, and support transition into product roadmaps.
• Lead and participate in product design reviews and complex technical initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile processes and help develop team members’ technical capabilities through training.
• Constantly evaluate latest development tools and present them to the team while promoting best-practices sharing.

What you'll need

• Over 12+ years of experience in software development, design, and testing.
• Over 4 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and best practices.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft stack and development tools including C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills applied to people and technology.
• Very good written and oral communication across company levels.
