Manager, Software Engineering

Overview

Manager, Software Engineering to lead teams on the Fastpath Access Governance product, including core development and integrations, while overseeing delivery and operational health of the related services.

What you'll do

• Manage a sprint team of software engineers, including both people and delivered work.
• Manage a team of integration specialists building and maintaining ERP and business application connectors.
• Own the technical roadmap, delivery, quality, and operational health of Fastpath Access Governance services.
• Lead bringing Fastpath Access Governance capabilities to the Delinea Platform natively.
• Partner with PM, UX, and Architecture in a Scrum model to shape requirements and drive architectural decisions.
• Drive adoption of AI coding assistants, design tools, and test automation across teams.
• Build a team culture focused on engineer safety and career growth.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years managing Agile engineering teams, with delivery and team development record.
• 5+ years hands-on software development with deep fluency in .NET/C# or comparable backend technologies.
• Strong skills in distributed systems architecture decision-making.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native services on Azure or AWS at scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with engineers, product, and senior leadership.
• Experience using AI coding assistants, AI design tools, and AI-based test automation in software development.

Details

• Location: U.S. Remote.
• Employment authorization restriction: candidates needing US work authorization now or in the future are not considered (includes F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J1).
• Reports directly to the Engineering Director.
• Services deployed/operated in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure.
