Overview
Manager, Workforce Planning leads workforce planning, scheduling, and performance across in-house and outsourced/vendor sites.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop Workforce Planners, Schedulers, and Real Time Analysts (typically 5-7 direct reports).
- Own capacity planning and scheduling coverage across in-house and outsourced/vendor sites.
- Own KPI performance (service level, occupancy, over/under staffing, quality) and lead root-cause analysis and recovery when performance slips.
- Anticipate staffing risks and deviations and implement proactive mitigation plans.
- Translate business goals into capacity plans and performance reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally to align staffing supply with business priorities and drive process/efficiency improvements.
- Manage outsourced/vendor relationships tied to staffing commitments and service level targets.
What you'll need
- 5-7 years of experience in workforce management, capacity planning, or operations, including team leadership/management.
- Workforce management fundamentals: capacity planning, forecasting, scheduling, shrinkage, and occupancy.
- Strong analytical rigor and comfort with SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Experience improving measurable performance across cross-functional teams.
- Clear communication skills to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
