Overview
Manage software engineering teams and lead the architecture, delivery, production operation, and technical direction of complex digital products.
What you'll do
- Provide technical input during product scoping, discovery, framing, and inception.
- Lead architecture and design decisions for products and distributed systems.
- Lead planning, standups, retrospectives, and technical backlog development.
- Guide teams in technology selection and technical problem resolution.
- Establish continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Lead and evaluate medium to large engineering teams.
- Advise direct reports on risks, priorities, budgets, and problem resolution.
What you'll need
- 10 years of software development experience preferred.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale cloud systems or applications.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, web and API security, and backend development.
- Programming experience with languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with Git, build systems, artifact management, and continuous integration tools.
- Experience in Agile or XP environments and paired programming.
- Experience with test-driven development and testing frameworks.
Nice to have
- Four-year bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with the TIBCO suite, including BusinessWorks and Business Events.
- Experience using API gateways.
Details
- Remote role in the United States.
- Annual compensation: $100,000–$170,500.
