Market Research Intern

About the role

HeadFox is looking for a Market Research & Product Research Intern to support the Product/R&D team in spotting new opportunities and shaping what the brand should launch next. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into competitor products, customer needs, and emerging categories, then turning that research into clear recommendations.

What you'll do

• Research products across riding, automotive, safety, wearable-tech, outdoor, and lifestyle categories to uncover relevant opportunities for HeadFox.
• Conduct competitor analysis by comparing features, price, technology, design, materials, positioning, and customer reviews.
• Identify market gaps, customer pain points, and emerging trends that could inform new product launches.
• Build product comparison sheets, opportunity reports, and research summaries for the Product/R&D team.
• Track new products, technologies, components, suppliers, and manufacturing possibilities when needed.

What we're looking for

• A background in MBA/PGDM/BBA/B.Tech/Engineering/Product Design/Market Research or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to compare products objectively.
• Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint for structuring findings and presentations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn large amounts of research into clear recommendations.
• Must be comfortable working from the office and collaborating closely with the Product/R&D team.

Nice to have

• Curiosity about consumer products, riding gear, technology, and emerging categories.
• Experience tracking product launches or studying online customer reviews.
