Marketing Technology Engineer

Overview

Marketing Technology Engineer owning the automation and AI layer of the marketing MarTech stack, including building agent processes and production automations that reduce manual work.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end operating layer for marketing’s agent fleet, including provisioning, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Design and build agentic processes, skills, and automations to remove manual work, using marketing judgment on what to build.
• Instrument built systems so usage, output, and value are visible to leadership and agents improve via feedback.
• Consolidate definitions of core marketing concepts across tools and agents so automations and dashboards remain consistent across product lines.
• Own MarTech stack configuration, administration, and integrations, enabling campaign teams to extend routine work.

What you'll need

• Prior marketing or marketing operations experience.
• Understanding of funnel and attribution logic, lead scoring, send-cadence and deliverability norms, and list hygiene/consent rules.
• Experience operating something unattended and verifying outputs when pipelines/integrations/agents run.
• A track record building production automation in a GTM function (e.g., Clay, Zapier, Workato, n8n).
• Experience moving from no-code to code with repository practices (version control, code review, CI, testing, deploying to a shared repo).
• Working proficiency in SQL and Python plus REST API fundamentals.
• Familiarity with secrets management for credentials/API keys and hands-on administration of HubSpot and Salesforce.
