Overview

Master’s internship for Sports Medicine R&D that uses medical image data and AI/ML to support clinical decision-making in minimally invasive joint surgery.

What you'll do

• Apply computer vision and machine learning to medical image data for Sports Medicine.
• Investigate, develop, and evaluate AI/ML analysis methods.
• Support data preparation, annotation, and labelling activities.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate analyses and streamline data processing.
• Collaborate with an international R&D team on research and product development initiatives.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar.
• Seeking a 6-month internship starting April 2027.
• Ideally has experience with medical imaging and real-world AI/ML model development.
• Proficient in Python development; initial experience with deep learning and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and/or OpenCV.
• Strong spoken and written English skills (minimum B2).
